The large shrimp population along the coast attracts schools of dolphins and the probability of seeing dolphins is in fact about 80%! This dolphin excursion usually takes just over two hours and is a very fun activity as the boats can be surrounded by dozens of dolphins jumping and playing.

MUNDUK WATERFALL

Munduk and Melanting waterfalls are among Bali’s most scenic, located within Bali’s lush and forested central-northern highland region. The falls are a highlight feature of the namesake village of Munduk in Buleleng, North Bali, reachable after a 300m walk from the main road on which trekkers can enjoy soothing nature sights and sounds along a forest route. Only a short trek north from Munduk is Melanting waterfall, which offers similar features.

TWIN LAKE

Twin Lake is located in Sukasada Village, Buleleng Regency. Travelers wanting to experience the wild rainforests of Bali’s central highlands will make the trek to Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan. The two crater lakes are located within the caldera of extinct Bedugul volcano. They were a single lake until 1800; a landslide separated the lake into two lakes, and a narrow land bridge of less than a mile width divides them.

ULUN DANU TEMPLE

The Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is both a famous picturesque landmark and a significant temple complex located on the western side of the Beratan Lake in Bedugul, central Bali. The whole Bedugul area is actually a favorite cool upland weekend and holiday retreat for locals and island visitors alike from the southern and urban areas, as it is strategically located, connecting the island’s north and south.
